An excellent 2 days in Bordeaux - a beautiful city. They call it little Paris and it really lives up to its name. 

Beautiful, clean, the old city is great for strolling around - even in 35° - and an excellent tram/bus system where the fare is only €1.90 a trip. They say there's about one bar/ restaurant for every 85 residents here. 

We're renting a car and we going to drive out to St Emilion and then visit some friends.
